How MBD Search Engine works

MBD Search Engine Server has all MBD Search Engine functionality plus possibility of working with clients installed on the different computers in the corporative network. Corporative users work with MBD Search Engine NetClient tool that interacts with MBD Search Engine Server installed on separate powerful computer (Server). The interaction is provided by Microsoft COM+ technology using all it's advantages including role-based user access control. MBD Search Engine Server also provides database-based user access control.

Source document loading is performed by means of Windows Network (sharing) using standard Windows NT user access control. MBD Search Engine Server automatically redirects user to the shared network resource, containing source document.
